Road Safety

Liz de Rome is a psychologist and consultant with substantial experience in community education and social change programs. She has worked on a range of road safety projects at the State and Local Government level.

Liz developed a model for the development of Council road safety strategic plans and is the author of A guide to the development of Council road safety strategic plans.  She has developed road safety strategy plans for many local councils in NSW.  She is also the author of the first Interim Activity Report on the Local Government Road Safety Program.  Liz was the convener of the MAA Young Driver Seminar and co-facilitated the National Summit on the development of a Pedestrian Charter for Australia.
